Concluding the ABCB’s annual 'road show' series, the last 2017 NCC Information Seminar was held on 16 March.

Again they were enormously popular, with most venues selling out - Just over 2500 attendees participated across the country.

This year’s seminar series informed practitioners about applying the BCA provisions using several scenarios and designs. With presenters from Standards Australia and representatives from State and Territory Building Control Administrations, practitioners were also kept up-to-date on the latest standards along with issues relevant to each State and Territory.

The ABCB also piloted two half day ‘Pathways within a Performance-based Code’ sessions to determine the level of interest and potential format for inclusion as part of the national series in the future. Both were well attended and generated strong interaction with the audience.

BCA and PCA Webcasts

We are releasing webcasts of the BCA sessions as seen on the national circuit as well as the performance sessions delivered in selected locations and a webcast on the PCA. Practitioners that were unable to attend a live seminar can still view the recording online, on-demand and free of charge, from their home or office at any time.

The webcasts will be available in the Resource Library in May.

Attendance certificates

If you attended one of the live seminars and did not pick up your certificate of attendance, you can do so by contacting Loud Events.
