Definition of Class 2 and Class 3 Buildings

Project output - BCA amendments to clarify the definition of Class 2 and 3 buildings.

The appropriate assignment of building classification is a fundamental component in ensuring that the appropriate BCA provisions are applied to a particular building.  For example, different disability access and energy efficiency provisions apply to Class 2 and Class 3 buildings.  This project seeks to provide a clearer distinction between Class 2 and 3 buildings.
