ABCB Protocols for Energy Rating or Analysis Software

The BCA energy efficiency provisions include a number of Verification Methods that can be used to demonstrate compliance with BCA Performance Requirement(s). These Verification Methods reference the following ABCB Protocols which energy rating or analysis software must comply with:

Protocol for House Energy Rating Software Version 2005.1. This relates to first generation software and is used for class 1, 2 and 4 buildings and certain class 10 buildings.
Protocol for House Energy Rating Software Version 2006.1. This relates to second generation software and is used for class 1, 2 and 4 buildings and certain class 10 buildings.
Protocol for Building Energy Analysis Software Version 2006.1. This is used for specific class 3, 5, 6, 8 and 9 buildings.
