Maintain and Update the BCA
Purpose
As the national technical code, the BCA must be continually updated to ensure it keeps pace with new technology, incorporates results of research, is cost effective, reflects current industry practices and reflects best practice regulatory principals. To assist industry in understanding its content, all BCA updates includes the review of the Guide to the BCA, which explains the intent and background to the provisions in BCA Volume One.
