A new version of the Lighting Calculator is now available, v2.20. The calculator is an Excel spreadsheet designed to assist with the elemental Deemed-to-Satisfy energy efficiency provisions for lighting and is suitable for use with NCC 2011 and up to the current edition of the NCC.
The Excel spreadsheet contains two separate worksheets for use with different building classifications. The first is titled the 'Residential Lighting Calculator' and applies to Class 1 buildings, Class 10 buildings and verandahs and balconies that are associated with a Class 1 building, as well as sole-occupancy units of a Class 2 building or Class 4 part of a building. The second spreadsheet is titled 'Non-Residential Lighting Calculator' and covers all remaining building classifications.
The current version of the Lighting Calculator is Version 2.20. Updates to this file may be available for download from time to time. The file name will always include the version number and the help screen contains details of the version history. The latest version of the calculator should always be used.
The Lighting Calculator for NCC Volume One and Two (Excel 2007 and later) is only compatible with PC
