So what’s changed for NCC 2022?
In short not much, but the requirements in NCC 2022 look different compared to NCC 2019.
For NCC Volume Two, the DTS Provisions for wet areas and external waterproofing have been divided into 2 provisions. This change is to improve readability and clarity of the provisions.
The first provision, H4D2 (2019: 3.8.1.1, 3.8.1.2), sets out where protection is required for wet areas. The second provision, H4D3 (new for 2022), sets out what materials must be used and how they must be installed. There are also some minor technical changes.
