Implementation Status
The improved WaterMark Certification Scheme was launched on 1 July 2016 and was progressively implemented on 1 August 2017. The Manual for the WaterMark Certification Scheme, including the Rules for the Scheme and the Approved Certifier and Approved User agreements (as approved by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission), were published in June 2017.
As the implementation of the improved Scheme progresses, the ABCB will regularly keep stakeholders informed of key changes. The table below identifies the key areas and their current status:
